Description: Come and join us at this years Monmouthshire Pony Club Senior Camp!
We are holding it for the 2nd year, at Rectory Farm, Duntisbourne Abbots, Nr Cirencester, just off the A417.
Rectory Farm have a fabulous 80x50m main sand arena, with a full set of showjumps and also a 80x35m arena that we are able to use, there are also grass dressage arenas too.
They also have an excellent cross country course, with a variety of jumps from 70cm-100cm, including steps, ditches, water, corners and skinnies.
We have Charlotte Armstrong and Andrea Parsons instructing, with possibly an extra instructor, depending on numbers.
Children will ride in the morning, then again in the afternoon. Horses/ponies will need to be fit enough and well enough shod (if shod), to get the most out of camp.
We will also have stable management sessions and inhouse evening entertainment!! There will be a low-key competition on the last day, to practice what has been learnt.
Horses/ponies will need to be up to date with flu/tetanus vaccinations.
They will be stabled in an American style, rubber matted barn, and the children will be responsible for looking after them. There will be older children on hand to help the younger ones.
This year we will be doing our own catering. Our head chef will be Charlottes mother, who is renowned for serving delicious food. Please do let us know of any allergies or special dietary needs.
We will be camping again, so children will need tents and to share with at least 1 other.
Children must have reached their 12th birthday, by 1st January 2026 and be up to C test riding standard.
Rectory Farm hosts the Regional Pony Club Championships at the end of August, so it’s a perfect opportunity to practice around their courses.
The cost will remain at £350.
£100 deposit will be required by the 1st June 2026 to secure your place, when signing up through Entrymaster. The final £250 can be BACS’d into the pony club account, and paid in instalments if required, by 1st July.
